General Information
Alumni will be allowed on campus after 5 p.m. on Friday, July 7, and should depart by 9 a.m. on Monday, July 10. There will not be housing available in the dorms.
Nearby housing options include Airbnbs, Moffat Bible School Guest House, and the AIC Kijabe Motel. You will need to organize those directly yourself, but if you need contact information, please email [email protected].

Alumni Transition
“The key to entering well is leaving well.”
Hopefully your transition process is going well. This doesn’t mean it won’t be difficult, confusing, or even painful at times; all of this is normal. Remember that everyone goes through transition––at differing rates, degrees, and intensity––but everyone goes through it. You’re not alone, nor are you odd; you’re in transition.
Below are downloadable files of the handouts from your senior transition seminar. Please make use of them as often as you need. Start with the Transition Model and the Transition Experience. Try to get a grasp on where you are in the process. Remember that this process can take many months, so if you’re well into your first year of college and thought you were fine, but now find yourself inexplicably emotional or confused, please don’t worry. Use these tools, talk to others, and soon you’ll feel settled again.

Alumni Transcript Requests
Alumni in North America:
Former students of RVA from the Class of 2016 and prior may request transcripts from the Association of Christian Schools International in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Email ACSI directly at [email protected] or visit the Transcript Depository on ACSI’s website: www.acsi.org/interest/international/international-school-transcript-depository.
Former students of RVA from the Class of 2017 and beyond, contact [email protected], [email protected] or [email protected] for transcript requests.
Alumni outside of North America:
Students outside of North America should contact RVA directly.
PDF transcripts:
Many institutions are beginning to accept transcripts sent as a PDF email attachment. If this is acceptable to the college or employer you are working with, please send us the appropriate email address, and we will send the required document.
Official, sealed transcripts:
We will prepare an official, sealed transcript if needed. We will try to catch someone to carry it to the US for mailing. In some situations, we will mail the transcript from Kenya. Expect this to take 2 to 4 weeks (or longer).
All graduating students are given a diploma and an unofficial transcript. An official transcript is sent to the college of their choice. The graduates also receive the contact information for the ACSI depository mentioned above.
*Please note that RVA does not hold on to graduated students’ medical records for longer than 5 years.
